Poor Weather / Pool Closures

We always aim to run our classes during periods of snowy or inclement weather and we are unable to offer refunds if you decide not to attend on a day when our classes have gone ahead. Please do consider your safety when travelling to lessons during poor weather.

In case we are unable to run a class due to exceptionally poor weather or closure of a pool due to weather or other reasons then we will do our best to contact you in advance. We recommend that you keep an eye on your email and our Facebook page during poor weather.

Should a pool be unavailable due to reasons outside of our control (e.g pool closure, unplanned maintenance etc.) then we reserve the right to run the lesson at an alternative pool or on an alternative date. We will always give as much notice as possible in such circumstances. Unfortunately we will be unable to offer a refund if you can’t make the change of venue or the new date given.

If a credit is offered to you, you will receive an email to advise.  It is your responsibility to deduct this from your next term’s fees.  Credits are valid for 12 months.

We are unable to offer refunds once your space has been booked and confirmed and you have passed payment for the course.

Health and Hygiene

Please ensure that both carer and child shower before leaving home for your lesson. No showers are available during Covid currently.

Endeavour to feed your child at least 90 minutes before the lesson commences.

Your child will be very hungry afterwards having completed a water workout.

You will receive a Health Questionnaire when booking onto the course, but please advise of any further medical conditions for yourself and your child prior to entering the water.

Never bring your child swimming if they have a significant illness, eg diarrhoea, chicken pox, ear infections, conjunctivitis.

We recommend a 7-day delay if your child has had sickness or diarrhoea.

Please do not remove your child’s nappy whilst on poolside.

Wrap up warm!

Please ensure your child is warm enough after swimming – we recommend having a towel/bath robe at the pool side for your child so that they can stay warm once they get out of the pool.

Immunisations

The NHS immunisations website here http://www.immunisation.nhs.uk states that it is ok to take a young baby swimming before immunisations are complete.

Administration

As time is allocated to your child it is not possible to refund or credit your account if your child misses a lesson.

Safety

Please do not leave any valuables unattended in the changing rooms or poolside. We do not accept any liability for items going missing on the premises.
